Life lesson reminder: "Value yourself and your values about life"
The disrespect of others or disappointment is not a reflection of yourself. The more you “care” about people/projects sometimes, the higher the disappointment can be.
As humans, we have an emotional side (the care), which can sometimes interfere with logic. You may remember how I often say: “you need to be passionate or have a passion for what you do"(not the same thing)
When you value yourself and what you believe in, and if you feel disappointed in how others behave, remember they have their own set of values and beliefs, and they will not always match yours.
You don’t always have to agree with people and how they do things, simply do not let it affect what you think of yourself or your values about what you believe in. (I know it may sound like a riddle! haha)
Remember this, not everyone will see your true value, will value the same things you do, or respect the same things you do.
How you react, is key to continuing smiling each day no matter what happens in life or business.
Once you value yourself, you can bring value to others with who you are and what you do.
🔥You don't always have to be the best, but you do always have to be yourself. Period!
